This work without title by Oswaldo Vigas was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in May 2018. It achieved a price of USD 50,000.00 (€ 42,844.90), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 43%. Admittedly, works by Oswaldo Vigas have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Paraíso Inconcluso in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 221,000.00 (€ 209,240.67).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Oswaldo Vigas kam im Mai 2018 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 50.000,00 (€ 42.844,90) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 43%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Oswaldo Vigas auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Paraíso Inconcluso im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 221.000,00 (€ 209.240,67).
