The work Grupo Familiar by Oswaldo Vigas was sold in the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction at Sothebys in New York in May 2019. The result of USD 60,000.00 (€ 53,816.49) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Oswaldo Vigas - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Paraíso Inconcluso, which sold at auction in November 2015 for USD 221,000.00 (€ 209,240.67).

Die Arbeit Grupo Familiar von Oswaldo Vigas wurde im Mai 2019 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 60.000,00 (€ 53.816,49) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Oswaldo Vigas mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Paraíso Inconcluso beobachtet, die im November 2015 für USD 221.000,00 (€ 209.240,67) versteigert wurde.
