The work Grupo Silvestre by Oswaldo Vigas was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction at Bonhams in London in October this year. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 32,000.00 (€ 36,744.89), 28% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Oswaldo Vigas have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Paraíso Inconcluso in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 221,000.00 (€ 209,240.67).

Die Arbeit Grupo Silvestre von Oswaldo Vigas wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 32.000,00 (€ 36.744,89) und damit 28% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Oswaldo Vigas auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Paraíso Inconcluso im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 221.000,00 (€ 209.240,67).
