The work Ligúrea Lúdica by Oswaldo Vigas was sold in the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction at Sothebys in New York in November 2019. It achieved a price of USD 100,000.00 (€ 90,752.34), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 43%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Oswaldo Vigas - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Paraíso Inconcluso, which sold at auction in November 2015 for USD 221,000.00 (€ 209,240.67).

Die Arbeit Ligúrea Lúdica von Oswaldo Vigas wurde im November 2019 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 100.000,00 (€ 90.752,34) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 43%. Für andere Arbeiten von Oswaldo Vigas mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Paraíso Inconcluso beobachtet, die im November 2015 für USD 221.000,00 (€ 209.240,67) versteigert wurde.
