Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Personaje Gris by Oswaldo Vigas was sold in the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction at Sothebys in New York in November 2019. The price achieved of USD 47,500.00 (€ 43,107.36) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Oswaldo Vigas have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Paraíso Inconcluso in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 221,000.00 (€ 209,240.67).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Personaje Gris von Oswaldo Vigas wurde im November 2019 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 47.500,00 (€ 43.107,36) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden.
