In the Evening Sale, Modern, Post War & Contemporary auction, the work Emily, I'm Gonna Write Your Name High on the Silverscreen. changed hands for EUR 14,520.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Pipilotti Rist have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bar in June 2000 with an auction result of GBP 80,750.00 (€ 127,998.69).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Pipilotti Rist konnte im November diesen Jahres bei VAN HAM für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Evening Sale, Modern, Post War & Contemporary wechselte die Arbeit Emily, I'm Gonna Write Your Name High on the Silverscreen. für EUR 14.520,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pipilotti Rist auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bar im Juni 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 80.750,00 (€ 127.998,69).
