Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work Leib & Seele (Apricots Stills) by Pipilotti Rist for CHF 8,125.00 (€ 7,546.03). This price was achieved in the auction Swiss Art Online Sale at Christies in Zurich (Online) and was even below the estimate range of CHF 9,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pipilotti Rist achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bar in June 2000 with an auction result of GBP 80,750.00 (€ 127,998.69).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Leib & Seele (Apricots Stills) von Pipilotti Rist für CHF 8.125,00 (€ 7.546,03) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Swiss Art Online Sale bei Christies in Zürich (Online) erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von CHF 9.000,00 – 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pipilotti Rist erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bar im Juni 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 80.750,00 (€ 127.998,69).
