Sold at the lower estimate price
In June 2015 Sothebys in Zurich held the auction Schweizer Kunst / Swiss Art, which included the work Video-Still Selbstlos Im Lavabad, 1995 by Pipilotti Rist. The result of CHF 3,000.00 (€ 2,877.62) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of CHF 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pipilotti Rist achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bar in June 2000 with an auction result of GBP 80,750.00 (€ 127,998.69).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Juni 2015 führte Sothebys in Zürich die Auktion Schweizer Kunst / Swiss Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Video-Still Selbstlos Im Lavabad, 1995 von Pipilotti Rist zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von CHF 3.000,00 (€ 2.877,62) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von CHF 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pipilotti Rist erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bar im Juni 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 80.750,00 (€ 127.998,69).
