signed and numbered `3/3 PP' in pencil (the edition was 95 and 10 artist's proofs), published by Eyestorm, London, pale offsetting in places along the margins, four creases at the upper right margin corner, otherwise in very good condition, unframed.

Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2009 Phillips in New York held the auction Modern and Contmporary Editions, which included the work 21st Century Love by Antony Micallef. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 2,250.00 (€ 1,500.60) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Antony Micallef achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Hobo Angel (Burger King) in December 2007 with an auction result of GBP 26,900.00 (€ 36,552.54).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2009 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Modern and Contmporary Editions durch, in der auch die Arbeit 21st Century Love von Antony Micallef zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 2.250,00 (€ 1.500,60) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Antony Micallef erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Hobo Angel (Burger King) im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 26.900,00 (€ 36.552,54).
