Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Persephone Reborn by Antony Micallef was sold in the Under the Influence auction at Phillips in London in April 2014. It achieved a price of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 11,411.54), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Antony Micallef - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Hobo Angel (Burger King), which sold at auction in December 2007 for GBP 26,900.00 (€ 36,552.54).

Für andere Arbeiten von Antony Micallef mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Hobo Angel (Burger King) beobachtet, die im Dezember 2007 für GBP 26.900,00 (€ 36.552,54) versteigert wurde.
