A top price for Antony Micallef
In December 2007 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art, which included the work Hobo Angel (Burger King) by Antony Micallef. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 25,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 26,900.00 (€ 36,552.54). With this result, Hobo Angel (Burger King) is even the most expensive work of art by Antony Micallef that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis für Antony Micallef
Im Dezember 2007 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Hobo Angel (Burger King) von Antony Micallef zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 25.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 26.900,00 (€ 36.552,54) einen neuen Besitzer. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Hobo Angel (Burger King) sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Antony Micallef, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
