A top price for Tom of Finland
This artwork by Tom of Finland achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in May last year. In the Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale auction, the work Untitled Twelve Works sold for USD 289,800.00 (€ 270,058.71) - well above the upper estimate of USD 120,000.00. This high result makes Untitled Twelve Works the most expensive artwork by Tom of Finland that we have observed at auctions so far.
