Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Tom of Finland achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bukowski in Stockholm in October last year. In the Contemporary Art & Design auction, the work without title sold for SEK 260,000.00 (€ 23,791.02) - well above the upper estimate of SEK 100,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tom of Finland achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled [Twelve Works|AID701324] in May last year with an auction result of USD 289,800.00 (€ 270,058.71).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Tom of Finland erzielte im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art & Design wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für SEK 260.000,00 (€ 23.791,02) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von SEK 100.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tom of Finland erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled [Twelve Works|AID701324] im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 289.800,00 (€ 270.058,71).
