Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Os Gêmeos could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in November 2012 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction, the work Casou Com O Primo changed hands for USD 98,500.00 (€ 75,710.99) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Os Gêmeos - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Amigo, which sold at auction in November 2015 for USD 162,500.00 (€ 153,853.44).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Os Gêmeos konnte im November 2012 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction wechselte die Arbeit Casou Com O Primo für USD 98.500,00 (€ 75.710,99) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00.
