Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Untitled, 2009 by Os Gêmeos for USD 56,250.00 (€ 48,399.59). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art Online at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Os Gêmeos - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Amigo, which sold at auction in November 2015 for USD 162,500.00 (€ 153,853.44).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Untitled, 2009 von Os Gêmeos für USD 56.250,00 (€ 48.399,59) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art Online bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Os Gêmeos mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Amigo beobachtet, die im November 2015 für USD 162.500,00 (€ 153.853,44) versteigert wurde.
