Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2018 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Curated, which included the work Vincente Mais Ou Menos by Os Gêmeos. The price achieved of USD 22,500.00 (€ 18,262.99) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 18,000.00 – 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by Os Gêmeos have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Amigo in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 162,500.00 (€ 153,853.44).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2018 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Curated durch, in der auch die Arbeit Vincente Mais Ou Menos von Os Gêmeos zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 22.500,00 (€ 18.262,99) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 18.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Os Gêmeos auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Amigo im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 162.500,00 (€ 153.853,44).
