Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work As Três Amigas by Os Gêmeos for USD 62,500.00 (€ 58,422.13). This price was achieved in the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Os Gêmeos - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Amigo, which sold at auction in November 2015 for USD 162,500.00 (€ 153,853.44).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2017 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit As Três Amigas von Os Gêmeos für USD 62.500,00 (€ 58.422,13) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Os Gêmeos mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Amigo beobachtet, die im November 2015 für USD 162.500,00 (€ 153.853,44) versteigert wurde.
