Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2011 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art Day, which included the work Security Guard by Duane Hanson. The »bidding war« ended at USD 410,500.00 (€ 285,545.35), 17% above the upper estimate. Other works by Duane Hanson have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 428,400.00 (€ 399,217.22) in May last year for the work Cowboy.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2011 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art Day durch, in der auch die Arbeit Security Guard von Duane Hanson zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 410.500,00 (€ 285.545,35) und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis.
