Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2017 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work Artist With Ladder by Duane Hanson. Here, the upper estimate of USD 350,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 375,000.00 (€ 315,179.02). Other works by Duane Hanson have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 428,400.00 (€ 399,217.22) in May last year for the work Cowboy.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2017 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Artist With Ladder von Duane Hanson zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 350.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 375.000,00 (€ 315.179,02) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Duane Hanson haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 428.400,00 (€ 399.217,22) im Mai letzten Jahres für die Arbeit Cowboy beobachtet.
