Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2015 Christies in London held the auction Post War & Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work Security Guard by Duane Hanson. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 242,500.00 (€ 339,196.93), 21% above the upper estimate. Other works by Duane Hanson have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 428,400.00 (€ 399,217.22) in May last year for the work Cowboy.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2015 führte Christies in London die Auktion Post War & Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Security Guard von Duane Hanson zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 242.500,00 (€ 339.196,93) und damit 21% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Duane Hanson haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 428.400,00 (€ 399.217,22) im Mai letzten Jahres für die Arbeit Cowboy beobachtet.
