Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Brendan Fowler could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in November 2014 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction, the work Summer 2010 ("Debbie'S Chair At Rick'S House" On Computer, Joel'S Phone On Table 1) changed hands for USD 7,500.00 (€ 6,029.91) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Brendan Fowler have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Spring 2011 (½ X ½" Clear Pine Molding Inside Of The Car W/Show Card Black Mirror 2, Phil Loading Truck, Mirror In Miami) in May 2014 with an auction result of USD 34,375.00 (€ 25,201.61).
