Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Spring 2011 (Andrew And Max Building The New Rack W/Show Card); Spring 2011 (Mirror Reflecting Black Flat); Spring 2011 (Mirror Reflecting White Flat); Spring 2011 Wall (4X8' White Flat); Spring 2011 Wall (8X8' White Flat) by Brendan Fowler was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2015, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - Admittedly, works by Brendan Fowler have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Spring 2011 (½ X ½" Clear Pine Molding Inside Of The Car W/Show Card Black Mirror 2, Phil Loading Truck, Mirror In Miami) in May 2014 with an auction result of USD 34,375.00 (€ 25,201.61).

Als die Arbeit Spring 2011 (Andrew And Max Building The New Rack W/Show Card); Spring 2011 (Mirror Reflecting Black Flat); Spring 2011 (Mirror Reflecting White Flat); Spring 2011 Wall (4X8' White Flat); Spring 2011 Wall (8X8' White Flat) von Brendan Fowler im März 2015 bei Sothebys in New York versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für USD 5.938,00 (€ 5.528,35) den Besitzer.
