Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2014 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work Spring 2011-Fall 2011 (The New Rack 1 - The New Rach 4, Graham In Truck) by Brendan Fowler. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 10,625.00 (€ 13,401.47) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Brendan Fowler have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2014 the work Spring 2011 (½ X ½" Clear Pine Molding Inside Of The Car W/Show Card Black Mirror 2, Phil Loading Truck, Mirror In Miami) was auctioned for USD 34,375.00 (€ 25,201.61).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2014 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Spring 2011-Fall 2011 (The New Rack 1 - The New Rach 4, Graham In Truck) von Brendan Fowler zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 10.625,00 (€ 13.401,47) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Brendan Fowler konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2014 die Arbeit Spring 2011 (½ X ½" Clear Pine Molding Inside Of The Car W/Show Card Black Mirror 2, Phil Loading Truck, Mirror In Miami) für USD 34.375,00 (€ 25.201,61) versteigert.
