Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Christmas Tree by Anri Sala was sold in the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction at Sothebys in London in October 2015. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 3,250.00 (€ 4,545.94) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Anri Sala have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ghostgames in June 2010 with an auction result of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 24,321.86).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Christmas Tree von Anri Sala wurde im Oktober 2015 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 3.250,00 (€ 4.545,94) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Anri Sala auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ghostgames im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 24.321,86).
