In November 2020 Phillips in an online auction held the auction Wired: Online Auction, which included the work Untitled (silence since) by Anri Sala. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,772.00 (€ 3,094.49), 39% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Anri Sala have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ghostgames in June 2010 with an auction result of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 24,321.86).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 39 % übertroffen
Im November 2020 führte Phillips in einer Online-Auktion die Auktion Wired: Online Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (silence since) von Anri Sala zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 2.772,00 (€ 3.094,49) und damit 39% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Anri Sala auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ghostgames im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 24.321,86).
