Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2017 Phillips in New York held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale - Afternoon Session, which included the work Fuera del Carrusel by Anri Sala. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 16,250.00 (€ 13,657.76) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Anri Sala have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2010 the work Ghostgames was auctioned for GBP 20,000.00 (€ 24,321.86).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2017 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale - Afternoon Session durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fuera del Carrusel von Anri Sala zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 16.250,00 (€ 13.657,76) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Anri Sala konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2010 die Arbeit Ghostgames für GBP 20.000,00 (€ 24.321,86) versteigert.
