»Let Song Hold Us« – How Music Shapes Our Lives
From lullabies to funeral music, our lives are crucially shaped by the songs we sing and the stories they tell. On the one hand, the songs can feel very personal, but they can also remind us that we are part of something bigger. With these guiding principles in mind, FACT in Liverpool is hosting the art exhibition Let the Song Hold Us from 24 March.
»Songs for dying / Songs for living« - Life and death as atmospheric narrative
The young artist Korakrit Arunanondchai knows how to translate his own experiences into atmospheric stories and make them experienceable as narratives. Starting on December 4, the Kunstverein Hamburg is dedicating a solo exhibition to him entitled Songs for dying / Songs for living, in which the cycle of life and death is retold.

»Let the Song Hold Us« – Wie Musik unser Leben prägt
Vom Wiegenlied bis zur Trauermusik – unser Leben wird von den Liedern, die wir singen, und den Geschichten, die sie erzählen, entscheidend mitgeprägt. Die Songs können sich einerseits sehr persönlich anfühlen, uns aber auch daran erinnern, dass wir Teil von etwas Größerem sind. Mit diesen Leitgedanken veranstaltet das FACT in Liverpool ab dem 24. März die Kunstausstellung Let the Song Hold Us.
»Songs for dying / Songs for living« – Leben und Tod als atmosphärisches Narrativ
Der junge Künstler Korakrit Arunanondchai versteht es, seine eigenen Erlebnisse in atmosphärische Geschichten zu übersetzen und sie als Narrativ erlebbar zu machen. Ihm widmet der Kunstverein Hamburg ab dem 4. Dezember eine Soloausstellung mit dem Titel Songs for dying / Songs for living, in der mitunter der Zyklus von Leben und Tod nacherzählt wird.
