A top price for Anri Sala - as previously expected
In June 2010 Phillips in London held the auction Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work Ghostgames by Anri Sala. The price achieved of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 24,321.86) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 18,000.00 – 22,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Ghostgames is the most expensive artwork by Anri Sala that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Juni 2010 führte Phillips in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ghostgames von Anri Sala zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 24.321,86) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 18.000,00 – 22.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Ghostgames das teuerste Kunstwerk von Anri Sala, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
