Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Airport by Anri Sala was auctioned at Christies in London in March 2021. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 5,250.00 (€ 6,167.40). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Anri Sala - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ghostgames, which sold at auction in June 2010 for GBP 20,000.00 (€ 24,321.86).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Airport von Anri Sala kam im März 2021 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 5.250,00 (€ 6.167,40) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Anri Sala mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ghostgames beobachtet, die im Juni 2010 für GBP 20.000,00 (€ 24.321,86) versteigert wurde.
