Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Bourgogne Aligoté by Alejandro Otero for USD 16,250.00 (€ 13,924.59). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alejandro Otero achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Coloritmo 57 in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 790,000.00 (€ 747,964.40).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Bourgogne Aligoté von Alejandro Otero für USD 16.250,00 (€ 13.924,59) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alejandro Otero erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Coloritmo 57 im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 790.000,00 (€ 747.964,40).
