Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Tablón No. 32 by Alejandro Otero was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in May 2021. The price achieved of USD 302,400.00 (€ 247,990.82) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 280,000.00 – 350,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alejandro Otero - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Coloritmo 57, which sold at auction in November 2015 for USD 790,000.00 (€ 747,964.40).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Tablón No. 32 von Alejandro Otero kam im Mai 2021 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 302.400,00 (€ 247.990,82) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 280.000,00 – 350.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Alejandro Otero mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Coloritmo 57 beobachtet, die im November 2015 für USD 790.000,00 (€ 747.964,40) versteigert wurde.
