Auction result well in line with expectations
In May last year Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Day Auction, which included the work Coloritmo 59 by Alejandro Otero. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 600,000.00 – 800,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 604,800.00 (€ 563,600.78) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Alejandro Otero have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2015 the work Coloritmo 57 was auctioned for USD 790,000.00 (€ 747,964.40).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Coloritmo 59 von Alejandro Otero zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 600.000,00 – 800.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 604.800,00 (€ 563.600,78) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Alejandro Otero konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2015 die Arbeit Coloritmo 57 für USD 790.000,00 (€ 747.964,40) versteigert.
