The result of USD 20,000.00 (€ 17,137.96) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, A Country Built On Free Labor is the most expensive artwork by Xaviera Simmons that we have observed at auctions so far.
