Maris Mellur is a contemporary artist based in northern Germany. Inspired by Scandinavian as well as Japanese aesthetics and Zen her minimalist abstract art is all about reduction to the bare essentials. By organic dynamics and a neutral colour palette, with a strong emphasis on black, her paintings set visual statements of simplicity, subtlety and tranquility in modern spaces.
Her artworks have been exhibited in galleries and art fairs in Europe.
