Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work The Skaters by Will Barnet for USD 750.00 (€ 661.84). This price was achieved in the auction Prints & Multiples at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Will Barnet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Silent Seasons - Summer No. Ii in April 2015 with an auction result of USD 118,750.00 (€ 106,387.74).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit The Skaters von Will Barnet für USD 750,00 (€ 661,84) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Prints & Multiples bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Will Barnet erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Silent Seasons - Summer No. Ii im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 118.750,00 (€ 106.387,74).
