Auction result well in line with expectations
In August 2021 Bonhams in New York held the auction Prints & MultiplesSummer Splash: Featuring Artists of the South of France, which included the work Compression Spokane by Will Barnet. It changed hands for a price of USD 1,147.50 (€ 972.46) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 900.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Will Barnet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Silent Seasons - Summer No. Ii in April 2015 with an auction result of USD 118,750.00 (€ 106,387.74).
