Auction result misses estimated price range
In May last year a collector was able to acquire the work Combing by Will Barnet for USD 69,300.00 (€ 64,579.26). This price was achieved in the auction Modern Day Auction at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Will Barnet have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in April 2015 by the work Silent Seasons - Summer No. Ii at USD 118,750.00 (€ 106,387.74).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Combing von Will Barnet für USD 69.300,00 (€ 64.579,26) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern Day Auction bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Will Barnet wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im April 2015 die Arbeit Silent Seasons - Summer No. Ii mit USD 118.750,00 (€ 106.387,74).
