In September last year Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts held the auction Prints & Photographs, which included the work Atalanta by Will Barnet. The »bidding war« ended at USD 765.00 (€ 781.97), 28% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Will Barnet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Silent Seasons - Summer No. Ii in April 2015 with an auction result of USD 118,750.00 (€ 106,387.74).

Im September letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts die Auktion Prints & Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Atalanta von Will Barnet zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 765,00 (€ 781,97) und damit 28% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Will Barnet erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Silent Seasons - Summer No. Ii im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 118.750,00 (€ 106.387,74).
