The work Lunch Break by Rebecca Ness was sold in the Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at Christies in New York in May last year. It achieved a price of USD 10,080.00 (€ 9,393.35), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 68%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rebecca Ness achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Origins in May last year with an auction result of HKD 2,016,000.00 (€ 239,342.47).

Die Arbeit Lunch Break von Rebecca Ness wurde im Mai letzten Jahres in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Christies in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 10.080,00 (€ 9.393,35) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 68%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rebecca Ness erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Origins im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.016.000,00 (€ 239.342,47).
