Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Shirt Study by Rebecca Ness was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in April this year. The price achieved of HKD 75,600.00 (€ 77,202.39) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 100,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rebecca Ness - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Origins, which sold at auction in May last year for HKD 2,016,000.00 (€ 239,342.47).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Shirt Study von Rebecca Ness kam im April diesen Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 75.600,00 (€ 77.202,39) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Rebecca Ness mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Origins beobachtet, die im Mai letzten Jahres für HKD 2.016.000,00 (€ 239.342,47) versteigert wurde.
