Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Caballero) by Martín Ramírez was sold in the Post-War to Present auction at Christies in London in September this year. The price achieved of USD 31,500.00 (€ 29,761.90) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 25,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Martín Ramírez have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (Tunnels and Train), 1950s in January 2021 with an auction result of USD 187,500.00 (€ 154,511.74).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Caballero) von Martín Ramírez wurde im September diesen Jahres in der Auktion Post-War to Present bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 31.500,00 (€ 29.761,90) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 25.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Martín Ramírez auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (Tunnels and Train), 1950s im Januar 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 187.500,00 (€ 154.511,74).
