Sold at the upper estimate price
The work Untitled (Rabbit/Deer) by Martín Ramírez was auctioned at Christies in New York in May 2019. The auction ended at the price of USD 60,000.00 (€ 53,816.49), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Martín Ramírez - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (Tunnels and Train), 1950s, which sold at auction in January 2021 for USD 187,500.00 (€ 154,511.74).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Untitled (Rabbit/Deer) von Martín Ramírez kam im Mai 2019 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 60.000,00 (€ 53.816,49) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Martín Ramírez mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (Tunnels and Train), 1950s beobachtet, die im Januar 2021 für USD 187.500,00 (€ 154.511,74) versteigert wurde.
