Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Church and Cross), circa 1953 by Martín Ramírez was auctioned at Christies in New York in January 2020. The price achieved of USD 35,000.00 (€ 31,551.43) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 25,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Martín Ramírez have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (Tunnels and Train), 1950s in January 2021 with an auction result of USD 187,500.00 (€ 154,511.74).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Church and Cross), circa 1953 von Martín Ramírez kam im Januar 2020 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 35.000,00 (€ 31.551,43) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 25.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Martín Ramírez auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (Tunnels and Train), 1950s im Januar 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 187.500,00 (€ 154.511,74).
