Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Untitled (Abstracted Landscape with Horse and Rider), circa 1960-1963 by Martín Ramírez was auctioned at Christies in New York in January 2020. Here, the upper estimate of USD 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 68,750.00 (€ 61,976.02). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Martín Ramírez - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (Tunnels and Train), 1950s, which sold at auction in January 2021 for USD 187,500.00 (€ 154,511.74).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Abstracted Landscape with Horse and Rider), circa 1960-1963 von Martín Ramírez kam im Januar 2020 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 68.750,00 (€ 61.976,02) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Martín Ramírez mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (Tunnels and Train), 1950s beobachtet, die im Januar 2021 für USD 187.500,00 (€ 154.511,74) versteigert wurde.
