Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Liza Lou was sold in the Editions & Works on Paper auction at Phillips in New York in October 2021. The price achieved of USD 7,560.00 (€ 6,544.32) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 6,000.00 – 9,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Liza Lou achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Vessel in October 2010 with an auction result of GBP 289,250.00 (€ 333,509.79).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Liza Lou wurde im Oktober 2021 in der Auktion Editions & Works on Paper bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 7.560,00 (€ 6.544,32) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 6.000,00 – 9.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Liza Lou erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Vessel im Oktober 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 289.250,00 (€ 333.509,79).
