In March 2011 Christies in New York held the auction First Open Post-War and Contemporary Art, which included the work Grocery List, Campbell's Soup Can, Toothbrush, Toothpaste, Baby Ruth Bar and Nestle Crunch King Size Bar by Liza Lou. The result of USD 25,000.00 (€ 17,626.74) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Liza Lou achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Vessel in October 2010 with an auction result of GBP 289,250.00 (€ 333,509.79).

Im März 2011 führte Christies in New York die Auktion First Open Post-War and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Grocery List, Campbell's Soup Can, Toothbrush, Toothpaste, Baby Ruth Bar and Nestle Crunch King Size Bar von Liza Lou zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 17.626,74) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00.
