Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Jan Groover could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in November 2020 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art & Design auction, the work "Untitled", 1979 changed hands for SEK 26,000.00 (€ 2,541.68) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jan Groover have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Still Life Studies in June 2010 with an auction result of USD 12,500.00 (€ 10,170.04).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jan Groover konnte im November 2020 bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Art & Design wechselte die Arbeit "Untitled", 1979 für SEK 26.000,00 (€ 2.541,68) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jan Groover auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Still Life Studies im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 10.170,04).
