Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (FS 119.2) by Jan Groover was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in October 2021. The price achieved of USD 2,520.00 (€ 2,181.44) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jan Groover have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Still Life Studies in June 2010 with an auction result of USD 12,500.00 (€ 10,170.04).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (FS 119.2) von Jan Groover kam im Oktober 2021 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.520,00 (€ 2.181,44) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jan Groover auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Still Life Studies im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 10.170,04).
