Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Untitled (FS 41.2) by Jan Groover was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in October 2021. Here, the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 3,276.00 (€ 2,835.87). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jan Groover - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Still Life Studies, which sold at auction in June 2010 for USD 12,500.00 (€ 10,170.04).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled (FS 41.2) von Jan Groover kam im Oktober 2021 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 3.276,00 (€ 2.835,87) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Jan Groover mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Still Life Studies beobachtet, die im Juni 2010 für USD 12.500,00 (€ 10.170,04) versteigert wurde.
