This artwork by Jan Groover achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in June 2010. In the Photographs from the Polaroid Collection auction, the work Still Life Studies sold for USD 12,500.00 (€ 10,170.04) - well above the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00. This high result makes Still Life Studies the most expensive artwork by Jan Groover that we have observed at auctions so far.
